Today is the NASCAR race at the Brickyard in Indy. One of the few races along with the Daytona 500 that I try to watch each year. I think it is one fantastic race course and I always watch the Indy 500 each year, it is the only Indy car race that I watch each year. I am a huge sports fan and racing is at the bottom of my choices to watch but I do catch a couple of races each year and today’s race will be one of the ones that I do watch this year. Lets go racing.

Having grown up with two sisters, I have always been around girls and their girl games but now that I have daughters and granddaughters it has become a quest of mine to find good games that girls can play, and I have found a great web site that has so many different girl games. Easy Girl Games has a wonderful selection of great games for girls to choose from and I was amazed that the price of these specialty games matched any game prices in the local stores. With a great selection you keep the fights over what game to play down to a dull roar and that is the biggest plus for me at least.

Never that I remember in the month of July have we had such a cool spell in our weather. It will not get out of the seventies today or tomorrow and that is very cool. Tonight they said on the news this morning that we had a good chance to match or beat the record low temperature for this date. Kind of makes me wonder about all this hand wringing about global warming. I like it when it is cool and we get a bit of rain so I am a happy camper this week.

One of the very most important things when you are working outside everyday is taking care of your feet, and the very best way I have found to keep my feet in good shape is to have great boots on your feet. It seems that every time I get a couple of days off in a row where we can do something fun it rains. Today is no different. It has begun to rain and we had tickets to go to a baseball game tonight, looks like that will have to be done at a later date. It seems when ever we make plans to do an outdoor activity it rains, the farmers should hire us just to plan outdoor activities so they can get some much needed rain, it may be a job alternative if this working thing does not work out.
