Football season

Saturday, July 26th, 2008

It is almost time to get football season underway and I can not wait, it is my favorite time of the year and signals that fall is just around the corner. The time from the Super Bowl to the start of the next football season is a time when men across America get depressed and their honey-do lists grow and keep them very busy. Football will help the men of America get the couch time they need and deserve. It looks like a great season for my team the Tennessee Titans and I can not wait to get the game going very soon.

Truck woe’s

Saturday, July 19th, 2008

Every time I seem to get a little ahead one of my trucks break down and have to be hauled to the shop. This time is is just little nuisance things but thet still have to be repaired. This time my wind sheild wipers started working when they wanted to, sometimes going to work down the interstate they would just come on and then when it would rain they would not work. Then to top it off one night both lights on my drivers side burned out, I have never seen that happen before. When I pick this one up I have another one to drop off, it never ends.

Harley Davidson

Saturday, July 12th, 2008

Harley Davidson is finally getting their museum open, this will make our trip to Wisconsin a more enjoyable trip at least for me, the wife is happy with visiting relatives and going to the Dells. The trip is not a lot of fun for me unless something I enjoy is thrown in, the new Harley Davidson museum will make the trip for me, I will be happy the rest of the year if I get to go. I own a Harley and I am very interested in the older bikes that are not around as much, I enjoy the old style bikes they have more class than any of the new bikes on the road anymore.

Big concert

Saturday, July 5th, 2008

Saturday night a huge concert was held at the LP Field, Kenny Chesney and Keith Urban headlined the show which also featured Gary Allen and others. 49,000 people attended what a nightmare that must of been for parking and getting home after the show. The parking and crowded streets is why we never go downtown any more. Nashville needs to make some parking for people who do want to go downtown and spend their money there. As it is now you can not get there with out paying a high price or walking a long way.
