Graduation time

Tuesday, May 12th, 2009

Graduation time is a very important time for a lot of high school and college kids and this year we have three in our family that are graduating from either high school or college. We have made the decision to buy Prepaid Visa card for the Graduates this year. That way they can buy what they need not have to endure what we think they will need.

We will be getting our prepaid Visa Cards from Vision Prepaid, they have a great web site with all the information you need to get your prepaid Visa Cards ordered in time for the big graduation events in your life.

The kids will be able to pay their bills with their prepaid Visa Cards or simply just buy some stuff that they need, at any store is a lot more convenient that a store gift card. I know if I was the one getting the prepaid Visa Card from Vision Prepaid I could find a sweet spot to spend them in with no trouble at all. Buying the graduates a prepaid Visa Card is the best idea my wife ever has come up with, well except for saying yes when I ask her to marry me.

Sisters plans

Monday, May 4th, 2009

My youngest sister has made plans to go back to school and get her nutrition degree. I know she has plans to start her own catering business and a nutrition degree would be a huge help in that plan. She has found the perfect place to continue her studies, Kaplan University has online courses and she found this opportunity at Natural Healers, they have a great web site with a lot of career paths including the one my sister wants to follow. I know my sister will be very good at this and I know that she is following the right career path with Natural Healers.

We have started to look for some appliances for our son to take with him when he goes to college this fall. The first item we found for him was a toaster oven. We began to look for a toaster oven for him by checking reviews of the available toaster ovens at Toaster Oven Guide, We found the right toaster oven for him and the Toaster Oven Guide made it very easy for us.

New Grand baby

Monday, April 6th, 2009

We got the news today that we are expecting our 4th grand baby in a few months, and we are very excited. Parenting Tips for our youngest daughter will be very easy, we have been through this before and all of the ups and downs she will be experiencing. Trudy’s sisters will be able to give her a lot of advice as will her mom. We have a lot of girls in our family and they know what to eat and the problems that are normal and when it is real trouble where the mom and baby are in danger and will get her to the doctor if that happens.

I for one do not want to know if it is a boy or girl until the day it is born I like the drama, my wife is a pretty good guesser when it come to the sex of the baby, I am one who thinks you should buy baby stuff in neutral colors just in case it is not what you expected.

One great web site that has a lot of baby tips for new parents is Parents Connect, they have a great web site one my daughter will be using a lot in the coming months.

Time for a change

Wednesday, November 19th, 2008

Many years ago I had a dream to play pro football and I followed that path, until injuries cut short my football career. The one downside to this choice was that I did not finish my college degree. The years since have not allowed me to finish my degree due to work and raising a family, and now that the kids are older and I work at night I am going to spend the time and money to get an online degree to finish my college education, finally.

Degree Hound has the information that I will need to get in touch with a school and get under way to complete my education. The web site there is filled with useful information and the tips I will need to find the right school to get me credits transfered and get my degree finished up and on the wall. Going back to school at my age will be tough, but I think I can handle the work load and I am very excited to learn that I only need 36 hours and I can do that all online. Degree Hound is a great web site and I am very pleased to find them after all these years.
