Traffic

Sunday, August 16th, 2009

Last night with a Tennessee Titans game downtown the traffic was horrible, it took me a couple of hours to cover the distance that I need 20-25 minutes to cover on most days. I like to go to the games and I do not mind the traffic if I am prepared for it last night I had forgotten that their was a football game downtown and it snuck up on me. I was not ready for the snarled traffic and the people were very rude about the traffic and that made things much worse, for me anyway. I will be ready next time and pick a different route to get home.

Time to renew

Sunday, August 16th, 2009

At the end of this month I will have to renew my auto insurance on a couple of my work vans, in the mean time I will be looking for a new insurance carrier to insure my vehicles. The one that has caught my eye is Autonet Van Insurance, they have a lot of different plans that would be perfect for all of my work vehicles. The need for good auto insurance has never been higher than it is right now, so many people do not have any insurance at all and some that do have insurance do not have the proper coverage.

I always try to keep the very best insurance on my vehicles and to help me find the right insurance I have been checking a lot of different insurance web sites and the people at Autonet Van Insurance have been very helpful and their assistance in finding the proper insurance for my work vehicles has been very helpful and I think that I have found the right insurance company for my work vehicles. It makes me feel a lot better when I know that my work vans have the proper insurance on them and that I am covered no matter what kind of trouble my drivers have while driving my work vans.

Road repairs

Sunday, August 2nd, 2009

It seems at times that almost every road in middle Tennessee is under some form of repair this year. No matter which route that I choose to go almost any where in town I get delayed by road repairs. On some weekends they have shut down one side of the Interstate 40 route through town, which makes it very hard to get from one side of town to the other, I am glad that I do not have to make many trips to the west side of town anymore. I hope before school starts they get all of these repairs fixed and all the roads open, if not it will be a nasty trip to any spot when the yellow school buses start rolling again.

Car for sis

Saturday, July 11th, 2009

Ever since my sister has moved to Utah she has been calling me for a lot of help with little things that are hard to do clear across the country. Her latest problem is one that I can help her with from here in Nashville. She has blown up her old car and needs some help finding a new car, I searched for utah county auto and I found a great dealer to assist her in her search, Gregory Pontiac and Buick has a lot of very useful information on their web site and a lot of very nice looking cars to choose from so I sent her there and she found exactly what she was looking for in one stop, so I am the heroic little brother again. That is a feeling I like to have all the time.

Price of gas

Wednesday, June 17th, 2009

For 50 days in a row the price of gasoline has climbed, this is a record that I wish we had not broken. In California today the price of gasoline went over $3.00 a gallon. It will not be much longer and our business will begin to suffer from the rise of our expenses. I do not know how much over $3.00 a gallon we can stand we have just begun to recover from the high price of gasoline late last year. I hope we can survive but it looks gloomy in our future with the rising price of gasoline.
