This summer has went by at a very rapid rate, school has already started and it will not be long until winter is upon us again. We had record lows in July, the weather lows not the stock market, that has been rising again finally. This has been a very strange year and I can not wait for next year to get here. It may sound strange but I now look forward to the years that I have left and not backwards at the years gone by and that makes me very happy, happy but sad too at the years gone and things undone.

The new season, season number 11 began Thursday night, I can not get a feel for the cast yet. I seem to pick out a couple of the players and cheer for them and then they wind up getting voted off, all except Evil Dick who won the whole thing a couple of years ago. I just can not get a grasp on a couple of the players and I guess it will take me a couple of shows to choose who I think will win. I hope it is as fun as all the other seasons and does not get silly like a lot of the reality shows have done in the recent past.

One of the things that I really enjoy as I get older is having a great Satellite TV Dish to watch the things that I really enjoy on TV. The picture is much better than watching on an antenna and the service and price beat the heck out of cable TV. Direct TV is the top of the companies that provide satellite TV and I like it much better than the cable Tv we used to have in our home.I love my Direct TV and I keep telling all of my family members about this great TV set up and I think that anyone who tries the Direct TV system will fall in love with it like my family has.

The price of regular gasoline has started to rise again and it looks like we may be in for another rush to $4.00 a gallon. The price has risen from almost $1.25 a gallon to to $2.50 in only a few months, at this pace we will out do the high prices we felt late last year and that will be the end for many business in this once great country. In my opinion our new President is not doing enough to make this country great again and is doomed to fail. Let us hope we get brighter and more American oriented minds in that office soon.

For the last two years I have watched the misadventures of the Ice Road Truckers and the new season started on Sunday, of course I had to work a double shift Sunday so i missed it, but it comes on again tonight at 9pm and I will be on the couch with a cold drink to watch the third season of the Ice Road Truckers, one of the few show I watch on cable but it is a good one that I enjoy very much and I try not to miss any of the shows. It is to hard to find them on again at a time when I can watch them.
