Pacaras

It seems to rain every weekend and this weekend will not be any different. I know that we need the rain but I would like to have one weekend without rain or snow. Every time we make plans to go somewhere on a weekend the weather does not help us out at all. This weekend we had plans to go camping but with the rain and dropping temperatures we have decided to hold off for one more week, lets hope next weekend is better for camping, I can not wait I am ready for a nice weekend with no rain. I am ready to go spend some time at the lake.

Never that I remember in the month of July have we had such a cool spell in our weather. It will not get out of the seventies today or tomorrow and that is very cool. Tonight they said on the news this morning that we had a good chance to match or beat the record low temperature for this date. Kind of makes me wonder about all this hand wringing about global warming. I like it when it is cool and we get a bit of rain so I am a happy camper this week.

It seems that every time I get a couple of days off in a row where we can do something fun it rains. Today is no different. It has begun to rain and we had tickets to go to a baseball game tonight, looks like that will have to be done at a later date. It seems when ever we make plans to do an outdoor activity it rains, the farmers should hire us just to plan outdoor activities so they can get some much needed rain, it may be a job alternative if this working thing does not work out.

It is very rare that we have sever storms here in middle Tennessee in July but last night we had two funnel clouds spotted about forty miles from Nashville near Clarksville. As far as I know no one was injured or no major damage was done by the storms. It has rained most of the afternoon and now it will get hot and humid again. The joy of being in Tennessee in the summer time. There is no end to the joy here in the summer time. I guess the summer time is a lot better than being in Alaska in the winter, I will take the heat and humidity any time over the cold and snow.

We finally got nice enough weather to clean out one of the vehicles and get it washed. We have had so much rain we have not had a chance to get any of the vehicles to the car wash, we got the Mazda done today and it looks very sharp. The green van will be next and by the end of the week we will get to my Tahoe done. i like to keep them cl;ean and sharp looking but it is tough when you work seven days a week and have bad weather too. Lets hope we get a few days of nice weather to get some of the stuff done we have been putting off due to the weather.
